Who are our Ambassadors?

Our NGTU ambassadors are a team of young people from across the UK, all from different backgrounds and walks of life. They have one thing in common; they have chosen alternative routes to university. Some may be in apprenticeships, whereas others have gone straight into full time employment.

What do our Ambassadors do?

We rely on our ambassadors to support Not Going to Uni in a multitude of ways. Firstly, they are very present on our social media channels, often running takeovers, running live Q&As and creating reels for us about important topics. We also have several Ambassador events throughout the year where we film more formal content for ourselves and our employer partners. This content is used for presentations in schools and to help our employer partners increase their early careers opportunities and brand with young people. Our ambassadors are key to helping us achieve our mission of showcasing the alternatives to the standard university route to school and college leavers.

Benefits of being an Ambassador:

Our ambassadors work with us on a voluntary basis, but there are lots of benefits of becoming part of the team! Some of the key benefits of becoming an ambassador are:
● Promoting your own personal brand to a large following
● Helping young people to make informed decisions about their future
● Fun days out (all expenses paid!) with our other ambassadors
● A monthly online team catch up
● Opportunities to engage with large employers and schools, colleges and sixth forms
