WCG is the managing body that administers several colleges of further education in the English West Midlands, namely in the counties of Warwickshire and Worcestershire. At WCG, we utilise our NGTU Premium Profile to showcase our available apprenticeship vacancies. The platform offers a one-stop-shop for learners to see all that we have on offer, with apprenticeships ranging from Agriculture, Animal Care, Business & Professional, Construction, Engineering, Equine & Farriery, Hairdressing, Horticulture, Hospitality, IT, Motor Vehicle to Teaching, Health & Care.

Challenges

Utilising NGTU has allowed us to advertise all of our available apprenticeship opportunities in one place, under our WCG brand, which is a function not currently available on the National Apprenticeship Service. Historically, this may have led to potential learners missing out on opportunities across our seven colleges located in Warwickshire and Worcestershire. The NGTU Premium Platform allows us to make sure that all of our apprenticeship vacancies are in one place and easily accessible to all users.

At WCG, we are incredibly pleased with the results from the last 2-3 years. The introduction of the reports has helped us to see which vacancies are gaining the most attention, and how many ‘clicks’ each vacancy has received. Moreover, the platform itself is incredibly easy to navigate and uploading vacancies takes a matter of minutes. Most importantly, we are very happy with the service we receive from the NGTU team and our contact, Emily Dujon. Emily is always on hand to answer any questions we may have and is happy to arrange catch-up meetings to check on our experience and if there is anything that can be
